3/21/12 Training

Today’s workout was a rough one.  Not that it was long or fast (4.101 miles in 36:21), but I most definitely felt yesterday’s workouts.  My legs were tired and heavy, especially the first half of the run.  It was one of those workouts where I quickly realized that I would have to simply grind it out.

My struggle today made the point that I should have just ran once yesterday — much like the training program suggest if you take a rest due to illness.  I’ll record this workout and move on, hoping tomorrow’s run feels better.
