What a great morning for a run! After almost a week of rain, the sun was out with clear skies. I ran 7.15 miles on the Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation Greenway Trail. Today’s path had a few hills in the middle, but nothing too challenging. It was also nice to see the streams flowing again after a dry Fall and Winter.
With a relaxed pace concentrating on finishing the distance today, my time was 57:40. With Spring in full effect, it was nice seeing all of the signs of Spring. Seeing all of the buds on the trees and flowers starting to bloom makes the miles go by pretty fast. Getting ready for tomorrow’s 14 mile run . . .
