3/25/12 Training

I joined a couple of guys from my office for today’s 14 mile run.  We completed the run in 1:56:35.  The morning was another great time to run with temperatures ranging from 57 degrees to 68 degrees and little wind.  We started in Leawood (Kansas) and ran on the Indian Creek Trail.

Running with others is a good tool not only to stay motivated while training, but also to learn about others and how they approach running.  I learned quite a bit in just the two hours we spent together today.  I’m looking forward to continuing sharing thoughts on training and nutrition.

Since it’s Sunday, here’s the weekly breakdown for this past week:  I ran 46.56 miles this week in 6:24:37.  This brings my annual totals up to 330.51 miles in 47:03:11.
