This evening’s run was a challenge to myself to keep a faster than normal pace throughout the entire run. It was 7.83 miles in 1:00:02. The 7:40 per mile pace is considerably faster than most of my runs, but I wanted to prove that I could hold near marathon pace for a good distance.
The evening was beautiful. My run was on the Little Blue Trace Trail in Independence. Although I didn’t see any wildlife on the run, I did spy a beaver near the road while driving to the trail. I continue to read Sheehan and continue to notice some similar thoughts.
