5/25/12 Training

Tonight’s run was 8.25 miles in 1:10:13 on the treadmill.  The past few days have been real struggles with low energy levels translating into runs at night on the treadmill.  I think the heavier mileage is starting to take its toll on my body and energy levels.  I hope to be able to push through the next few days to get my 75 miles in, and then start reducing the mileage as I transition to my marathon training schedule.

I hope to run near 8 miles tomorrow morning and then challenge myself with my longest run ever on Sunday.  Hopefully it will work as planned.
