6/1/12 Training

Last night’s run was difficult.  It was not a fast pace or a long distance, but my legs felt heavy and my mind simply wasn’t into the run.  I’m chalking a lot of that feeling up to the fact that it was late at night and was on the treadmill.  This is probably my least favorite combination and it showed last night.

The run was 5.1 miles in 46:44.  About the only piece of enjoyment was stopping.  It was a real grind to get this mileage in.  I hope I can get outside this weekend to finish the week and enjoy the cooler temperatures.
