7/11/12 Training

Today’s run was a quick 3 miles in 21:29. It was almost the same set up as Tuesday’s run, with a short turn around after dinner. I felt much better today mostly because I ate a lot less and the meal was not so heavy. Hopefully this is part of getting what works and doesn’t during training so I can avoid the don’ts during a race.

The run was on the Legacy Loop again during Grant’s soccer camp. I’m thankful the temperatures are lower than last week. This week has also given me a different change of scenery which has been helpful. Sometimes the normal routes get a little mundane, so I’m appreciative for the change.
