8/21/12 Training

This evening’s tempo run was on the Little Blue Trace Trail.  I was able to run 6.17 miles in the allotted 45 minutes.  It was a bit warm still at the beginning of the run (92), but the evening cooled off quickly and nicely once the sun set.  The run felt good as the training mileage and pace is now starting to test my leg muscles.  It’s this part of training that my legs are in a continuous state of aching, but they loosen up fairly quickly once I start my run.
